Liberty
Learn to work your horse at liberty by learning the basic exercises with our own trained horses. Everything from how to start exercises to fixing behavioural issues, this training will not only strengthen your relationship with your horse, it will also give you a basic understanding of horse psychology and develop your communication.
Classical Dressage
What is the difference between classical dressage and modern dressage? How do I develop my seat? How do I create lightness? Where do I begin to learn and teach my horse lateral work? Come and have a go on our trained classical dressage horses and get the answers you’ve been looking for in your riding. Any level of rider welcome.
Side Saddle
If you’ve always wanted to have a go at Side Saddle come and have a taster! We now offer a side saddle experience at Ham House Stables with our wonderfully trained horses. Sessions are limited availability.
Arrangements can be made for me to teach you with your own horse at home.

Ham House Stables
Tucked away in the ground of Ham House is the little riding stables offering an equestrian haven in the middle of busy London! Run by the amazing Minette Rice Edwards, Ham House Stables has a wonderful philosophy, combining classical dressage and natural horsemanship. each member of the team adds value and offers a unique teaching experience.
Lesson options include classical dressage, in hand, natural horsemanship, children lessons, beginner lessons, long-reining, desensitisation & behaviour training, liberty and side saddle tasters! Riders of any level and experience welcome, sessions tailored to personal preference.
